ABS

ABS plastic(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a thermoplastic material that provides a balance of strength and performance at an affordable cost. It is an ideal choice for applications where durability and impact resistance are crucial.

ABS plastic is tough, resilient and maintains its shape and size even under varying temperature and humidity conditions. It is widely used for precision parts such as gears, bearings, and mechanical components that require accuracy. ABS plastic is customizable and can be easily molded or formed into complex shapes and designs, making it suitable for retail store fixtures, point-of-purchase displays, and other marketing materials.

ABS IS WIDELY USED FOR

  • Machine housings, guards, and covers
  • Instrument panels
  • Models and prototypes
  • Point-of-purchase displays
  • Storage cases and display bases
  • Thermoformed displays, trays

FAQs About ABS

General

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is an opaque thermoplastic and amorphous polymer which made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. allowing chemical “chains” to attract each other and bind together to make ABS a considerably strong material. This process also provides ABS plastic products with hardness, gloss, toughness, and resistance qualities that exceed those of polystyrene.
